SOLUTIONS

Issue 1: I’m having trouble synchronizing e-mail over the air with an Exchange e-mail server

Solution: Follow these steps in the order they are presented until the issue is resolved:

Step 1: Check your Exchange settings.

Confirm the e-mail server settings on your device and try to sync again. To do this, follow these steps:

Tap the ActiveSync icon. (Or go to Start, tap All Programs, and then tap ActiveSync.)
At the bottom of the screen, tap Menu, and then tap Add Server Source. (If you’ve already set up a sync partnership with an Exchange server, the option appears as Configure Server instead of Add Server Source.)
Enter your e-mail address.
Clear the Attempt to detect Exchange Server Settings automatically check box, and then tap Next.
If encrypted connections are supported by your Exchange server, select This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection check box, and then tap Next.
Enter your user name, the password, and the domain name.
If you want the phone to save your password so that you won’t have to enter it again when synchronizing, select the Save password check box, and then tap Next.
To change available synchronization settings, select the type of information, tap Menu, and then tap Settings.
Tap Finish
