SUPPORT SOLUTION:
In a Microsoft SoftGrid client, you use the following syntax for the sftmime command to silently publish an application.
sftmime add app:”app_ name” /osd \\server_name\content\osd_name
When you execute the sftmime command, you receive the following error message:
The SoftGrid Client could not complete the operation.
The handle is invalid.
Error code: 4501DB-0C404064-00000006
.When SoftGrid parses this sftmime command string, the double backslash (\\) and the single backslash (\) are stripped from the UNC path that is in this string..To resolve this issue, use the following syntax when you refer to a UNC path in the sftmime command string.sftmime add app:”app_name” /osd \\\\server_name\\content\\osd_name
Generally, when you use a UNC path in a command string, use the following syntax.
\\\\server_name\\share_name\\osd_name.
