How to back up and restore the registry in WindowsTo enable and turn on logging for the Outlook Hotmail Connector, follow these steps:In Windows Vista, Click Start Collapse this imageExpand this image, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.Collapse this imageExpand this image
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MicrosoftClick the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector registry key. If the registry key does not exist, you must create it first. To do this, follow these steps:Click Microsoft.On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.Type Microsoft Office Outlook Connector, and then press ENTER.Double-click the TracingLevel registry entry. If the registry entry does not exist, you must create it. To do this, follow these steps:On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.Type TracingLevel, and then press ENTER two times.In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, type 3 in the Value data box, and then click OK.Note If you want to disable the logging feature, type 0 in the Value data box, and then click OK.Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
