In Office 2000, has a feature embedded within the help pages called ‘Show Me’, this displays a short video of how to perform certain tasks.  After installing a update the following message is displayed.
“Help can’t show you this procedure because the security setting in your browser is set too high or the ActiveX control Quactrl.ocx didn’t install correctly.

-Select a lower security setting in your browser
-If you receive this message after selecting a lower security setting, please see your system administrator for help troubleshooting the installation of the ActiveX control Ouactrl.ocx located in the folder you installed Microsoft Office to.”
.Microsoft has released an update that eliminates a security vulnerability in Microsoft Office 2000. The vulnerability could allow a malicious Web site operator or e-mail author to take inappropriate action on the computer of a user who visited the operator’s Web site or opened the HTML e-mail message. An ActiveX control, the Office 2000 UA Control (Ouactrl.ocx), is used by the “Show Me” function in Office Help and allows Office functions to be scripted. A malicious Web site operator or e-mail author could use the control to carry out Office functions on the computer of a user who visited the Web site or opened the HTML e-mail message.
This update removes this unsafe functionality, with the result that the “Show Me” and pop-up window definition functions are turned off in Office 2000.
.This feature was disabled and is no longer available after installing “Office 2000 UA Control vulnerability” http://support.microsoft.com/kb/262767 which is also rolled up into SP3 for Office 2000. .Note This is a “FAST PUBLISH” article created directly from within the Microsoft support organization.
