Microsoft SQL Server 2008 support for Duet server components Exchange Web Services support for Duet Request Handler.Issues that this hotfix package fixes
Fixes a problem in which Duet Request Handler and Duet Metadata Service fail if performance counters are not initialized correctly. Fixes a problem in which Duet displays an error dialog box when a SharePoint subscription item is opened in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 or in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.Adds support for basic authentication when Duet connects to a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.Adds a new entry that is named SkipRecipientValidation to the Web.config file in Duet Request Handler. This entry determines whether the recipients of control messages are validated against Active Directory. Set the value of the SkipRecipientValidation entry to TRUE when you are sure that Duet Request Handler sends the control messages to a valid e-mail address. This is useful in cross-domain scenarios in which Duet Request Handler is installed in one domain and actual user information is stored in another domain. In these cross-domain scenarios, Duet Request Handler may be unable to validate user information. The default value of the SkipRecipientValidation entry is FALSE. Fixes a problem in which when you install Duet Request Handler or Duet Metadata Service on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition, many of the performance counters that previously existed are no longer available. Fixes a problem in which if an invalid database is provided during the installation of Duet Metadata Service, the installation fails. Additionally, any Duet Web sites that were created during the installation still remain. Fixes a problem in which Budget Monitoring alerts have empty or missing bodies in Office Outlook 2007 or in Office Outlook 2003 after you apply a Duet update. .Hotfix information
