You are using Word 6.0 as your word processor for ACT! 2.8, and performing a Mail Merge and you get a WordBasic error.

The File Location setting for ACT! Temp is blank or references a nonexistent folder. Please follow these steps to establish a valid ACT!Temp folder:

Choose the Edit menu, and click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.
In the Modify box, click File Locations.
In the File Locations box, click the "Folder for:" drop-down menu and select ACT! Temp from the drop-down menu.
Click Set Folder, browse to ACT! 2.8, and click the Select "ACT! 2.8" button.
In the "Select an ACT! Temp. folder" dialog box, select Macintosh HD and browse to ACT! 2.8.
Click the Select "ACT! 2.8" button.
Click OK to close Preferences.
Restart ACT! 2.8
