You want to know how to filter the data visible in the Groups View of ACT!.
The ACT! Groups View includes filters near the top of the Notes, History, Activities, and Opportunities tabs. These filters are used to refine and control the information that will be visible to you within these tabs. The filters can be used alone or in combination to provide powerful filtering of the data. The Notes Tab: The Show For Filter Click the drop-down at the Show For field to use the Show For filter. Click All to see both Group notes and Contact notes of Group members. Click Group to show only Notes that are associated to the current Group. Click Group Contacts to show only Contact notes of Group Members.The Dates FilterClick the drop-down for Dates to use the Dates filter. Click one the item on the list to activate the filter. The option includes All Dates, Today, Past, Future (it is possible to time stamp a note with a future date), Today and Future, Tomorrow, Last Week, Last Month, Current Week, Current Month, Next Week, Next Month, and Custom. Custom allows you to set a date range.The Select Users FilterClick Select Users to filter the notes by User. You can filter the notes to show only the notes associated with chosen record managers. Click to activate All Users to show notes of all database users. Click to activate Selected Users and select or de-select the users whose notes you want to see.OptionsClick the Options control to open the list of Options. Click to check Show Private if you want to see your private notes. (Even with Show Private checked, you will only see private notes where you are the record manager.)The History Tab: The Show For FilterClick the drop-down for Show For to use the Show For filter. Click All to see both Group Histories and Contact Histories of Group members. Click Group to see only the Group Histories for the current Group, or click Group Contacts to show only the Contact Histories for members of the current group.The Dates FilterClick the Dates drop-down to use the Dates filter. Click to select the appropriate option on the list. Click to All users to see Activities from all database users, or click Selected users and select users from the list.The Options Filters Click the Options control to open the list of Options. Click to check Show Cleared, Only Show Timeless, and Show Private if you would like to see your private Activities. Click All to see both Group Opportunities and Contact Opportunities of Group members.
