You wish to simultaneously change the value of a Yes/No field for a number of contacts
You can add or remove the check mark from a Yes/No field in multiple records by using the Replace Field function.
It is strongly recommended that you create a backup or a copy of the database before making this change. Refer to the following Knowledge Base Answers for detailed information:

Follow the steps below:
Create a lookup of the Contacts for which you wish to change the value of the Yes/No field.
For information on creating Lookups in ACT!, refer to the following Knowledge Base Answers:

Click the Edit menu, and then click Replace. The Replace Data dialog box appears:
Click the Replace contents of drop-down arrow, and then click desired Yes/No field from the list.
Type true in the Value field if you wish a check mark to appear (or false if you wish to clear the check mark), and then click OK. The following Replace/Swap/Copy confirmation question appears:
Click Yes to implement the change for all the records in the current lookup. (You may need to Refresh the current view to see your changes.)
