You have just upgraded ACT! by installing the new version over a previous version. When you try to perform a HotSync with your Palm III device, you receive the message, "Could not find the ACT! program. Please rerun ACTREG.EXE found in your ACT! directory. If you have moved the ACT! program, please rerun SETUP.EXE."

In most cases, this can be fixed by running a small program that was installed when you installed ACT! If the problem still occurs after following these steps, you will need to install ACT! a second time. Please follow these steps:
Exit ACT!
Click Start, point to Find, and choose Files or Folders.
Make sure the Look In box indicates the drive where ACT! is installed. In the Named box, type ACTREG.EXE and click Find Now. The search results will appear.
Double-click ACTREG.EXE.
You will see a series of confirmation messages. At each one, click OK.
Close the Find Files dialog box.
Perform the HotSync again. If you still receive the error message, you will need to reinstall ACT!
